Use of renewable natural resources Bio-based raw materials
We started to show an interest in the possibility of sustainable production back in 2015. One of the first renewable natural sources we used in our products was a biopolymer made from sugar cane, and later we employed Sabic Bio-Based raw materials.
Bioplastic is known as the least harmful type of plastic as it is produced from renewable resources, i.e. plants. The use of such a resource represents a great victory in reducing pollution and protecting the planet. These solutions allow us to use significantly less fossil materials and also reduce pollution through recycling.
The polyethylene (PE) produced from renewable natural resources are certified according to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS).
Compared to fossil materials, these products leave up to a 80% lower carbon footprint and help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. While containing properties that are important for sustainability, they also offer the same high quality as products made from fossil fuels.
These products can contain up to 90% renewable raw materials, while being 100% recyclable
